Wurth International Trading America is Hiring a Sales Manager - LATAM Near Wayne, NJ
Key Responsibilities:
Pro-active approach to problem solving, participation and involvement with customers, vendors and colleagues, familiarity with products and marketing strategies, understanding of long-term company goals and how to achieve them in the short and long term.
Create a Marketing Plan based on customers marketing plan and support the customer in planning yearly promotions and sales growth programs
Place and roll out of new products / projects: Support customers with the integration of new products into product range(s) for defined markets.
For new programs plan together with customer and product management all pre-launch activities including: samples, product testing, legal requirements and sales/customer training etc.
For existing programs plan together with customer and product management promotions and marketing activities to increase sales
Proactively organize and participate in customer visits, writing minutes, update customer project list and follow up
Participates in continued education to learn about existing and new products and improved sales techniques
Perform benchmark analysis with other customers and identify new leads and potential new markets
Participate actively on ride along with customer’s sales force (at least 4 times per year)
Pitch products and/or services.
Prepare PowerPoint presentations and coordinate offers and review brochures with Graphics Design
Train personnel and help team members develop their skills
Pricing:
Negotiate and re-negotiate with customers constantly by phone, email, and in person
Create quotes and proposals for existing and new projects
Use of excel and Business BI to execute pricing analysis
Determine the salability of the product in the market making sure that the profit goal of the company is achieved
Pricing administration, price list calculation and data update in SAP, quarterly Price List creation
Analyze and communicate all price changes with Sales Management Team Lead prior to change
Information Management:
Gather all necessary information about goods needed to support new programs, features, offers and ensure that sufficient inventory is on hand at time of launch and after in coordination with the other departments
Gather and share competitive intelligence information and implications specific to your customers
Define, execute and/or monitor specific performance metrics (KPI) and goals relevant to each customer relationship
Gain a deep understanding of the customer experience; identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
Track and analyze sales/product statistics and submit them to the Sales Management Team Lead for period reviews
Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events; write reports about findings/potentials
Prepare monthly/quarterly customer report for management
Identify key competitor and consumer trends
Customer Service:
Act as point of first reference for all account business related inquiries and work collaboratively with colleagues in various departments to address any issues that may arise.
Effectively maintain and retain existing customers by building long-term relationships
Respond to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within specified timeframe
Contact clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products
Meet with customers and educating them on the benefits of products and services
