The Surgical Technician, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, is responsible for the direct and indirect care and safety of the perioperative patient in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:1. Graduate of School of Surgical Technology.
2. Surgical Technology Certification required within 12 months of hire.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE:1. Surgical experience preferred.

5. Retrieve supplies from Pyxis supply cabinets and follow patient charging procedure.
