As a supported* philanthropy support specialist your contributions will ensure that our philanthropy advisors and donors are well supported. Are you ready to join God where He’s at work?
You’ll make an impact when you…

• Support event invitation list management, mailers and logistics for a key annual event.
• Manage requests from advisors and team members.
• Coordinate plans for annual team gathering.
• Develop donor reports and coordinate delivery of project reports with project marketing and advisors.
• Provide administrative support for the philanthropy team.
• Collaborate with donors and external constituents to coordinate meetings, gift follow-up, event logistics and other assignments.
• Work with philanthropy advisors on coordinating moves management plans.
• Maintain a strong understanding of donor caseloads.
• Understand nuances and different processes.
• Ensure that commitments and fulfillments are tracked, credited and allocated effectively.

This job might be for you if…

• You have an associate’s degree and three to five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• You’re familiar with word processing, spreadsheet, CRM and web conferencing software, as well as calendars and email.
• You’re ready to learn how to use new software.
• You’re willing to work evenings or on weekends as required.
• You listen, maintain confidentiality and provide excellent customer service.
• You have excellent written communication skills.
• You’re a detail oriented and organized problem solver who enjoys supporting others.
• You’re ready to travel internationally and domestically as needed, up to 10% of the time.
• You demonstrate the desire and ability to support corporate biblical and religious goals and participate in regular work-related spiritual activities without reservation (Spiritual Bona Fide Occupational Qualification).
• You are legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• ABOUT SUPPORTED POSITIONS

Wycliffe Bible Translators is a faith-based organization, and as supported staff (missionary) you will receive a non-traditional salary (including benefits and ministry expenses) through the faithful giving of your personal partnership team. We provide extensive training and resources as you build your financial and prayer partnership team.
Non-traditional salaries are needs-based determined by factors of housing and personal expenses based on geographic location, including dependents and their ages, retirement savings, ministry expenses and taxes. Although salaries vary significantly and it’s not possible to provide an exact number for this position, a typical non-traditional salary for a missionary household is $42,600 to $80,982 annually. These salaries do not include your partnership-raised funds for health insurance, worker’s compensation insurance, or Wycliffe assessment.
