Wylander, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration industry, is looking for a passionate, strong leader for a Mitigation Project Manager for a full-service restoration company located in Norwalk, CT.

Mitigation Project Manager Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary $80K DOE, plus bonus & commission structure

The Mitigation Project Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of the project cycle. This role will provide direction and coordination of all field activities related to the technicians, trade partners, and managing the lifecycle of the project.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Uphold company core values and standard of care for customers. Demonstrate thorough understanding of restoration industry knowledge.
  • Daily oversight and management of mitigation projects including the internal team, laborers, and vendors.
  • Coordination and manage mitigation crews.
  • Complete scopes of work, measurements, moisture readings, pictures, and other field notes for commercial and residential mitigation projects.
  • Assure completion and accuracy of project paperwork and documentation.
  • Communicate with customers regarding project progress to ensure satisfaction.
  • Communicate and negotiate with insurance adjusters as necessary.
  • Work in the field performing restoration and construction related tasks and services, when applicable. Manage worksite safety, quality control and progress of work.
  • Utilize internal project management software to store and create relevant job site documentation. Respond to emergency property damage calls as needed.
  • Ability to estimate and invoice jobs.
  • Attend all applicable company meetings.

Mitigation Project Manager Requirements:

  • IICRC, Xactimate
  • 3 years Mitigation Management experience
  • On Call Rotation
  • Ability to toggle multiple tasks and interruptions daily
  • Strong organizational, communication (written & oral skills)
