FRONT DESK AGENT:
The front desk agents (and night auditors) are responsible for being the “second impressions” department when hotel guests arrive on property. They must be in proper hotel uniform at all times, showcase a professional appearance, display a welcoming image, and have a natural desire to assist guests with a variety of requests and under different circumstances. In addition, they must act as a reservationist during their down time. Finally, they will need to adhere to the following:
-- Applicant will need to be flexible with his/her schedule, work weekends and holidays if needed.
-- Applicant should have a consistently positive attitude and previous guest service experience.
-- Applicant who can cross train as a front desk agent, reservationists and/or a bellman is a plus!
-- This position will require the following skills: basic mathematics, checking-in/checking-out hotel guests, running the night audit (for night auditor position), guest service skills, checking all payment postings for the day, incidental inspections, inputting reservations, taking reservations over the phone and organizing the front desk and reservations area in preparation for the following day, and storing luggage.
-- NOTE: the hotel presently has 2 front desk positions open. If you can also cross train and work as a bellman or valet attendant, please let us know.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT:
The Executive Assistant is responsible for assisting the hotel’s Human Resources Department, Operations Department, and Executive Team. The Executive Assistant reports to the Human Resources Director. In addition, it is critical for the Executive Assistant to work at a fast pace and problem solve at all times. Finally, the Executive Assistant - as with any hotel employee - must help lead this hotel team with the right attitude and boost employee morale. Finally, they will need to adhere to the following:
- Good at note taking (especially during meetings).
- Problem solver and capable of thinking ahead of the game.
- Must be very detail-oriented and keeps his or her surroundings organized at all times.
- Can meet all deadlines and if not given one, can complete tasks within a reasonable time frame.
- Has savvy computer and Internet knowledge.
- Has taken or completed college courses in basic accounting, business or hotel management.
- Filing, faxing, scanning and basic accounting skills.
- Helping the front desk when short-handed or when agents need to take their breaks.
- Will be required to learn and process information into the hotel's property management system (Opera).
- Software knowledge includes - but is not limited to - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Must have access to a cellular phone with text/data usage capabilities.
- Run errands every so often.
