X Engineering & Consulting, Inc. (XEC) is a civil engineering firm focused on land development and infrastructure projects throughout southern California. XEC is seeking a Hybrid Project Manager at their office location in Santa Ana, CA. TFGB is a TPA, assisting X Engineering & Consulting, Inc. (XEC) in this hiring process.

Job Summary:

XEC is looking for a Project Manager to join our growing team of design enthusiasts and engineering professionals. Your role at XEC will include project oversight from preparing proposals to project closeout, providing leadership and technical training to junior staff, and playing an instrumental role in contributing to the health and growth of our business. You will provide technical oversight, review, prepare contracts and manage client relations and leads business development efforts in support of diversifying our portfolio.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Lead staff, budgeting, scheduling, and cost estimating.

· Identify design criteria, and plan and execute effective designs.

· Facilitate coordination of internal staff and project consultants.

· Prepare specifications and submit reports to clients and governing agencies.

· Manage contracts, prepare responses to RFPs, and participate in business development.

· activities.

· Interface with clients and attend project meetings.

· Plan, organize, direct, market, and supervise project activities.

· Mentor staff on land development operations and project-specific tasks.

· Ensure tasks are completed and project schedules and budgets are met.

· Provide solutions to design challenges.

· Develop a positive working relationship with clients to promote growth opportunities.

· Supervise preparation of and when needed, prepare technical reports.

· Direct technical tasks such as site investigation, due diligence, utility research, conceptual drawings, site grading/earthwork analysis, utility system design, WQMP/LID reports, feasibility analyses, site layout, and stormwater management.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5 years of civil engineering experience on large scale land development projects.

Requirements:

• Professional registration is required, or the candidate has the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $95k – $150k
