Description

Functions/Duties: This position is responsible for developing new foundry business in new areas as well as within existing key accounts in the North America Region.

Responsibilities (In Order of Importance):

  • Identify new areas of opportunity that have not been addressed.
  • Monitor markets, trend analysis and incorporation of feedback as well as providing reports to our Technology and Marketing departments.
  • Identify new business opportunities within key accounts and potential large accounts.
  • Cover all the X-FAB technology portfolio including CMOS, Microsystems and Silicon Carbide for new business development.
  • Conduct contract negotiations with business partners.
  • Address all related commercial aspects of customers.
  • Technical responsibility for aligning customer needs with foundry capabilities through collaboration with field application engineers.
  • Provide regular reports to regional manager and management.

Current Skills/Competencies:

  • Experience in wafer foundry business and proven track record of at least 5 years of developing business
  • Professional attitude with interpersonal and communication skills for interfacing with business partners on all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent social skills to establish new relationships with potential customers.
  • Proven ability to apply engineering knowledge in a business environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with external and internal partners.
  • Problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proven team member & self-starter.
  • Proven track record of successful sales.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and close deals professionally.
  • Experience managing large multi-national customer accounts.
  • Domestic and international travel required.
  • Experience in the field of Microsystems (MEMS) and Silicon Carbide technologies is a PLUS

Location: 

  • Preferably San Francisco Bay Area; alternatively, within 25 miles of a major United States airport hub. Hybrid work mode possible.

 

Qualifications


Minimum Requirements:

  • Education/Skills Background: B.S. Degree in EE, Physics, Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Semiconductors and a minimum of 5 years in B2B Business Development.
