What you'll be doing:
- Maintenance & Repairs: Schedule and perform repairs, maintenance, and installations to ensure seamless production operations.
- Prioritization & Planning: Review open job orders to set work priorities and execute tasks efficiently.
- Preventative Maintenance:
- Direct and enhance preventative maintenance activities.
- Develop, implement, and trend programs for reliability improvement.
- Execute plans to improve equipment reliability and longevity.
- Equipment Inspection & Safety:
- Inspect machines for operational compliance.
- Act as a safety resource, ensuring OSHA compliance and a safe workplace.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Coordinate with management, production, and quality teams to resolve issues and recommend improvements.
- Work with vendors to source economical parts, design improvements, and update older equipment.
- Procurement: Submit requisitions for tools, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Leadership:
- Lead, coach, and guide maintenance staff in all aspects of their roles.
- Provide input for capital projects and strategic planning.
Skills You Bring:
- Experience:
- 2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Hands-on, spending most of your time on the floor.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical/electrical issues.
- Organizational Strength:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Communication:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt messaging to different audiences and positively influence outcomes.
- Problem Solving: Proven experience in identifying and implementing solutions, securing team support, and resolving challenges effectively.
- Bilingual Advantage: English/Spanish fluency preferred.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 6am - 2:30pm
- Must be willing to adjust and work outside the regular schedule as needed
Pay:
- $62,500 - $80,000 per year
- Compensation will be determined by the candidate's qualifications, including education, experience, skills, and expertise.
