Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is part of the Project Controls department and will support various project technology systems being used in the company and will also provide data management support for our regional and corporate operations. This role will provide assistance in management and enhancement of current systems, support implementation of new ones, as well as ensure that all best practices and standards are adhered to while using these systems. This role will also provide strong management support on a daily basis by overseeing processes and procedures, tracking and monitoring, and maintaining them under the purview of the Project Controls department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in standardization and digitalization of multiples processes, integration, and alignment of business units into Webber’s policies, procedures and IT systems, while maintaining business operative and financial performance.
  • Facilitate and expedite the digitalization and implementation of technology ensuring the scalability of Webber.
  • Facilitate the design, development, integration, implementation, and training of the following tools/systems: Webber B&F or similar (budgeting and forecasting), Survey123 (processing data from the field), Asset Management, and any other any other existing or new core system and process.
  • Create new forms, templates, checklists, workflows and managing existing ones, in various company systems that are in accordance with business operation needs.
  • Perform troubleshooting for company’s tools.
  • Development of process documentation, supervising data processing and programming, as well as delivering training to process owners on the correct document structure and control tool usage.
  • Implementation of operational document control processes; provide system reports; and administer access and permissions of users into project control and data management systems.
  • Serve as a source of information and assistance to project teams and administrative staff in using various project systems and document management.
  • Perform audits for user accesses, adherence to document control procedures, and conformance to best practices while using company systems on a monthly basis.
  • Support in development and maintenance of Tool Manuals, Document Control Procedures, “How -To” guidelines to ensure the latest updates and guidelines are accurately reflected.
  • Other unlisted duties will be required.
  • Analyze, report and present on key data sets to inform management decision making.
  • Ensure compliance with Audit recommendations.
  • Ensure fulfillment of SOX requirements.
  • Training.
  • Ensure scalability of Webber’s division.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • High level of proficiency operating Enterprise Data Storage system i.e. SharePoint, and other Office 365 applications like Forms, Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Must possess a strong working knowledge of document control processes in construction industry.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and a strong attention to detail are required.
  • Must possess the ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive documents.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an Engineering or similarly analytical field.
  • A minimum of five (5) year work experience in a Project Management, data science/analytics and/or process-related work experience (such as Lean Sigma) are highly desirable.
  • Experience with Construction Technology and data systems like Webber B&F (budgeting and forecasting), Survey123 (processing data from the field), Asset Management, HeavyJob or similar timecard solution, and Procore.
