A Dallas based Oil & Gas company focusing on Minerals and Royalties, are on the lookout for a Finance Associate to join their Finance department. This role will also work closely with the Engineering and Senior Management team.

This role will see you maintaining and optimizing the corporate financial model to support forecasting and assist with analysis as well as prepare and maintain dashboards to improve forecasting further. You will also be offering economic evaluations and support for A&D efforts.

The right candidate is likely to be based in Dallas already, or happy to move here.

Required skills and experience:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Finance or relatable discipline.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically E&P or Minerals is preferred.
• Strong background in financial modelling and valuations.
• Working knowledge Spotfire (or PowerBI/Alteryx), SQL and/or Python is a plus.
• Basic understanding of commodity hedging principles.
