A growing biotechnology company based in Boston, Massachusetts is looking for an Associate Director, Clinical Operations to join the team!

Role and responsibilities

The AD will be responsible for leading global clinical trials in Phases I – III in collaboration with the Head of Clinical Operations. You will ensure the successful execution of studies according to regulatory guidelines, timelines and budgets.

• Accountable for overseeing clinical program and study budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring quality and making strategic decisions to meet program objectives.
• Collaborate with medical directors and cross-functional teams to develop, plan, and execute clinical operations strategies for various indications.
• Represent Clinical Operations in core team meetings across functions.
• Supervise cross-functional study management teams and coordinate with CROs/vendors for all clinical trial operations.
• Establish and monitor study timelines and report on study metrics.
• Develop and implement Clinical Trial Operations Strategy, including operational plans and vendor management.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in global clinical trial and program operations, with at least 4 years of independent clinical trial management.
• Significant experience in oncology or autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
• Proven expertise in developing clinical operations strategies and plans, including site monitoring, risk mitigation, recruitment, enrollment modeling, and CRO/vendor oversight.
