A subsidiary of an Industry Leading Systems Integrator operating worldwide are hiring for Field Service Engineers skilled in DeltaV. They are an employee-owned company that provides industrial process control engineering solutions, products, and services to their customers in multiple industries.

Industries served includes but is not limited to Industrial Automation, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, and more.

Their aim is to increase their customer's performance and effectiveness, product quality, and the productivity of process manufacturing through providing innovative solutions and the application of technology.

In this position:

• You will support their automation and DCS customers by developing, delivering, maintaining, optimizing state of the art automation and advanced control solutions.
• You will work directly with their customers to also define functional their functional needs where you will then design, develop, configure, commission, and qualify various software programs and automation systems if required.

Qualifications/requirements:

• Bachelors
• 3-5 years experience in automation / control system engineering
• Field programming experience - from scratch would be ideal
• Code modification
• 3-5 years DeltaV experience / or 5 years DCS/PLC (Rockwell, Allen Bradley) experience
• Experienced with either S88 Batch process or continuous processes.
• Field application experience - working with industrial instrumentation
• Industrial networking experience - communication protocols

Responsibilities:

Work closely with your team and the customers to:

• provide cutting edge control system solutions.

Provide ongoing support (staff augmentation) by:

• Configuring, commissioning, startup, and tuning.
• Troubleshooting DCS and field instruments.
• Creating and managing DeltaV interfaces to PLCs, drives, and control networks.
• Creating and managing communication networks.
• Develop and maintain detail documentation - functional specs, configuration docs, and test plans.
• Testing, integrating, and validating DeltaV systems.
• Developing control strategies, configuring process graphics, and implementing control logic.
