Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on bowling and arcade equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as lubricating parts, changing filters, and replacing worn components.
• Perform routine inspections of bowling lanes, pinsetters, scoring systems, and other equipment to identify and address potential issues.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments to perform maintenance work.
• Collaborate with other departments to schedule repairs and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, including repair logs, parts inventory, and equipment manuals.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as needed.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and resolve issues promptly to prevent further damage or downtime.
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve maintenance processes and procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a bowling alley and arcade or similar recreational facility.
• Strong knowledge of arcade games and bowling alley mechanics, electronics, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to after-hours emergencies when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in an industrial setting.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as needed.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, walking, kneeling, and bending.
