Position SummaryProvides strategic leadership and oversees all aspects of the company’s supply chain activities and fleet organization. Develops and executes strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, drive operational excellence, and improve overall supply chain and fleet performance. Develops and maintains stakeholder relationships that support supply chain and fleet strategies. Creates a positive, engaged culture to support learning, development, inclusion, and continuous improvement. Essential Responsibilities
Develop and implement the company’s supply chain and fleet strategies in alignment with overall business goals and objectives. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain and fleet processes to enhance overall operational effectiveness. Build strong relationships with business area and OpCo leadership to ensure their needs are met, add is valued, and support is provided for effective total cost of ownership.
Build and nurture strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring a reliable and cost-effective supply of materials and components. Collaborate with suppliers to improve quality, lead times, and responsiveness.
Provide oversight to ensure the fleet group’s 8,400 vehicles/equipment across 50 garage locations are operated efficiently. Ensure the company’s Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) strategy is implemented and integrated with the Company’s broader carbon-free future goals. Ensure a safety-first environment and that fleet regulatory requirements are met.
Oversee and coordinate with operations to manage inventory planning, optimization, and demand forecasting to ensure adequate stock levels across 70 warehouses, while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts. Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution strategies to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials. Explore opportunities to reduce transportation costs.
Identify and assess potential risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate disruptions. Implements business continuity plans to ensure supply chain resilience. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions, drive process improvements, and identify areas for optimization within the supply chain.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and ethical practices within supply chain and fleet.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain and fleet team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Provide clear direction, performance expectations, and provide regular feedback to team members.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field.
Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of ten years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain management with a track record of success in optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations.
Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, procurement, logistics, and distribution.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
Proven experience in implementing process improvements, cost-savings initiatives, and driving operational excellence.
Proficiency in supply chain software and technology tools (SAP preferred).
