Packaging Operations Supervisor
Position Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing daily operational activities related to the labeling and packaging of clinical supply materials.

Packaging Room Associates and Packaging Room Supervisors
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day clinical packaging and labeling operations.
- Plans, schedules, strategizes, and oversees all packaging and labeling activities while continually building quality and compliance.
- Supervises a team of packaging associates, training them on SOPs, cGMP, and handling quality issues with respect to packaging department.
- Motivates, supports the staff daily, applying a team approach and maintaining open communication.
- Reviews production schedule and establishes priorities based on room availability and staffing requirements.
- Collaborates with Project Management, Distribution, and Quality Assurance personnel to ensure packaging timelines are met.
- Ensures compliance with quality requirements during packaging and labeling activities.
- Monitors packaging related change controls, deviations, investigations, CAPAs for completion and implementation of action items on time.
- Determines root causes and implements corrective actions.
- Ensures adherence to all established operational procedures (i.e. start-up, packaging run, closing, and cleaning).
- Identifies, develops, and supports continuous improvement opportunities.
- Performs performance qualifications of equipment when required.
- Assists with the creation and revision of SOPs, and WIs.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned at the discretion of management.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience leading teams.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to address issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless packaging operations.
- Proven ability to empower the workforce and build strong teams through developing, evaluating, training, coaching and planning.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks and meet constant deadlines with strong attention to detail and quality.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to delivering superior results.
- Ability to work in a team environment where honest communication, a positive attitude, engagement, and personal accountability is expected.
- Strong supervisory skills and sound judgment.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and business software systems used in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Solid understanding of cGMPs and regulatory requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
