Position: CO SAP Sr. Resource Location: USA / Palmela (Remote with travel to Palmela, Portugal)

Remote with Travel-4-6 weeks upfront, then 1-2 weeks a month to PortugalDepartment: SAP

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled CO SAP Sr. Resource to lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of SAP Controlling (CO) modules on a global scale. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of SAP CO processes, strong project management skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across various geographical locations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Global Implementation Leadership:
- Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of SAP CO module implementations from project initiation to post-go-live support.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, timelines, and deliverables for global SAP CO implementations.
- Coordinate with global teams to ensure consistency and alignment of SAP CO solutions across all regions.
2. Business Requirements Analysis:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze detailed business requirements for SAP CO processes.
- Conduct workshops and interviews with key users to understand business needs and translate them into SAP solutions.
3. Solution Design and Configuration:
- Design and configure SAP CO modules (Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis) to meet business requirements.
- Ensure the SAP CO solution integrates seamlessly with other SAP modules (FI, MM, SD, PP) and third-party systems.
4. Project Management:
- Develop project budgets, resource plans, and risk management strategies.
- Monitor project progress, manage scope changes, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Prepare and present regular status reports to project stakeholders and senior management.
5. Team Collaboration and Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP CO consultants and analysts.
- Foster a collaborative and productive working environment within the project team.
- Provide training and support to end-users and ensure successful user adoption of the new SAP CO solutions.
6. Quality Assurance and Testing:
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and integrity of the SAP CO solution.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify and resolve any defects or issues identified during testing phases.
7. Post-Implementation Support:
- Provide post-go-live support to resolve any issues and ensure system stability.
- Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize SAP CO processes.
- Document lessons learned and best practices for future implementations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP CO module implementation and configuration.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SAP CO modules (Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis).
- Proficiency in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of managing large-scale global SAP implementations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
Preferred Certifications:
- SAP Certified Application Professional - Financials in SAP S/4HANA for SAP ERP Financials experts.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar project management certification.
