Custodial Worker

We are looking for a Custodian to serve as our groundkeeper and manager of the day-to-day cleanliness of the facility. The Custodian responsibilities include maintaining a clean, tidy and well stocked facility and always providing top notch customer service on the gym floor. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the custodial/janitorial industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable experience for our members.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of both locker rooms including showers, stalls, and dry saunas.
• Manage facility cleanliness throughout gym floor including vacuuming, mopping, and wiping down equipment.
• Inform front desk staff of any broken equipment
• Ensuring fully stocked facility including gym sanitation stations, and locker rooms.
• Welcome guests upon their arrival
• Respond to clients’ requests/issues in a timely and professional manner by escorting them to the front desk staff.
• Ensure all areas are clean, tidy, and fully stocked to accommodate members’ needs
• Must be able to lift weight of 50lbs minimum

Skills

• Work experience as a Custodian, Janitor, or similar role
• Customer service attitude
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience with gym equipment a plus
