Position: Forklift Operator
Pay: $17/HR
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5 AM - Finish
Position Description:
- Stocking and Picking: Stock products in appropriate locations and/or pick products throughout the facility.
- Documentation: Complete all required equipment sign-out and inspection paperwork.
- Accuracy: Accurately stock/pick products based on radio frequency (RF) and/or label instructions.
- Procedures: Follow standard operating procedures for scanning and labeling products.
- Transportation: Transport stock to all areas within the facility.
- Maintenance: Maintain work areas in a neat and orderly condition.
- Safety: Work safely and comply with all established safety rules and practices.
- Communication: Keep the supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary for effective management.
- Coordination: Coordinate and communicate plans and activities with others, as appropriate, to ensure a coordinated work effort and team approach.
- Additional Duties: Perform related work as apparent or assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Forklift Experience: Must be able to drive 2 types of forklifts, preferably SP & EPJ.
- Education: High School education or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a related position or field.
- Skills: Ability to accurately read and match numbers.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions and communicate with personnel.
- Attitude: Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work in a manner that promotes a safe working environment.
- Teamwork: Ability to contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Licensing: Ability to obtain equipment license or power equipment certification as required.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 70-100 lbs. on a continuous basis and work with heights up to 35 feet.
