• B.S. in Industrial Engineering
• Six Sigma knowledge helpful
• Management training focus
• Develop and execute health and safety plans in the warehouse according to company guidelines
• Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety
• Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to policy and procedures
• Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention
• Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations
• Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions
• Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker’s compensation claims
• Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures
• Assist in warehouse layout and design improvements
• Conduct time study to forecast manpower and equipment needs for costing and budgetary requirements
• Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Work closely with customer's engineering, product management, operations, and sourcing personnel.
• Maintain, report and analyze production and operating metrics
• Participate in product introduction teams, to deliver new products to production lines
• Identify and implement cost saving initiatives related to materials, labor, efficiency, transportation, and storage.
• Specify and recommend efficiency tools and test methods to develop and validate designs.
• Lead continuous quality and safety improvement initiatives

· Identify and drive corrective action based on root cause analysis

• Candidate will demonstrate metrics driven mindset and demonstrated performance improvement experience using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
