Must have experience developing Automation framework from Scratch.

Position Title: Lead UI Automation Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: 12 Months contract

Skillset:

Software Development (JavaScript/TypeScript):

• Experience in Front-End Development : At least 8-10 years of experience in front-end development, particularly in mobile applications.
• React Native Development: At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience with React Native.

Test Automation (Detox, Appium, Jest):

• Framework Development: Proven experience in designing and developing automation frameworks from scratch.
• End-to-End Testing: Experience in writing end-to-end tests for mobile applications, particularly using Detox or Appium.

CI/CD:

• Good understanding of automating the testing pipeline using CI/CD tools (like Jenkins, CircleCI or GitHub)

Project Management:

• Agile/Scrum: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Version Control: Proficiency with version control systems like Git.

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and create effective testing solutions.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and QA engineers.
• Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure that tests cover all edge cases and scenarios.

Additional Considerations

• Community Engagement: Active participation in the React Native and testing communities, contributing to forums, or speaking at conferences can be a plus.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in software testing or mobile development can be an added advantage.
