Job DescriptionWe seek an experienced and enthusiastic leader to join our growing Product organization! You will join our Xplor Pay vertical and support the teams, Solution Engineering and Integrations, who are responsible for consulting with and supporting Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and other software-focused partners seeking to leverage Xplor’s payment processing capabilities integrated within their software solution(s). Our Solution Engineers and Integration Specialists work with technical teams as a critical conduit in conveying business objectives, vision and expected outcomes. The scope of solutions spans varying point-of-sale, e-commerce, mobile, in-app, recurring billing, e-invoicing, and auto-reconciliation products and services made available to businesses through our embedded payments partnerships.
In this role, you will work closely with business leaders, architects, engineers, developers, and a broad set of internal teams to support and drive our embedded payments partnership strategy, helping our partners leverage multiple client-facing platforms used for merchant onboarding, transaction processing, account maintenance and reporting. You will also help guide the company’s global embedded payments product strategy and short- and long-term strategic plans which focus on ISVs, payment facilitators, and other SaaS and technology providers. The ideal candidate will possess solid knowledge of the payment ecosystem, ISVs, payment facilitation, and payment technology integration.
To Succeed In This Role, You Will
  • Manage, guide, mentor, and train Solution Engineers and Integration Specialists, setting clear goals and managing performance to enhance their expertise in our platforms and solutions helping ensure success of our partnership strategy and business growth goals. Ensure continuous professional development and effective knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of technical demonstrations, stakeholder consultations, and solution integrations. Oversee the planning and execution of key projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for business and technical escalations and needs. Facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration, ensuring stakeholders, including sales, operations, product, and development teams, are aligned, and informed about project progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Maintain expertise in our platforms' functions, usage, technical documentation, and specifications, including merchant boarding, transaction processing, account maintenance, and reporting.
  • Perform technical product demonstrations and provide technical guidance to stakeholders, including the creation of proofs of concept when appropriate. Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and consult with stakeholders and partners to identify and document pertinent business needs and requirements, as well as Xplor’s products and services as needed.
  • Provide support to sales and operations teams by creating supporting materials, providing timely responses to requests for information and helping craft sales strategies when needed.
  • Draft and compile artifacts such as Payment Processing Designs to communicate business objectives and requirements effectively and objectively with the intended feature/functionality of the final product.
Qualifications
  • 5 years' experience in solution engineering or a sales-focused, integration-related role.
  • Experience leading teams in the capacity of supervisor or manager with record of successful performance management.
  • Experience in financial services, merchant acquiring or related fintech industries is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success supporting technical sales strategies, designing, documenting, or launching successful integrated solutions and related capabilities and products.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with solid sales acumen and ability to interact with and understand technical subjects and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, demonstrating passion for our vision and the business problems we solve for clients.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships, interface directly and effectively with customers, negotiate with and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Solid critical-thinking and creative problem-solving skills with exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Tactful and calm under pressure, treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position, accepts responsibility for actions and follows through on commitments.
  • Accountable, dependable, responsive, and self-motivated.
  • The average base salary pay range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000
  • Eligible for a discretionary annual bonus
