ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Review project specifications, drawing and documents
Prepare submittal packages and follow-up on approval within a timely manner
Prepare material buyouts (source, compare pricing and purchase)
Write and issue purchase orders
Scheduling of project material deliveries
Prepare project binders for Superintendents and Foreman
Review project changes, complete material takeoff and assist in creating formal change order requests
Prepare RFI’s for submission to General Contractor
Complete job specific safety plans as required
Review of pricing and invoicing
Prepare closeout documents for projects
Practice integrity, reliability and honesty in all business transactions
Refrain from engaging in negative conversations about competitors
Project a positive company image at all times
Work with co-workers as a team to ensure success
Identifies and solves problems
Capable of working independently
Ability to multitask
Other duties as assigned
Work closely with Project Manager, General Contractor, Architects, Ownership, Superintendents and Foreman to successfully and profitably complete projects.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL
Experience level: 1 year
Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills
High accuracy in work and attention to detail
Demonstrated problem solving and people skills
Ability to read and understand architectural drawings
Analytical with the ability to examine issues from multiple viewpoints
Competent in MS Office- Word, Excel and Outlook
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Oral and written communication via email, on phone or in person
COMPANY POLICY/PROCEDURE COMPLIANCE
Follow all company policies and procedures as well as all state, local and federal laws concerning employment to include but not limited to: I-9 information, EEOC, Civil Rights and ADA.
Maintain confidentiality of company records and information at all times.
Maintain a professional image.
Follow all policies and procedures as written in the Xquisite Landscaping company handbook.
Job Type: Full-time. Weekly pay.
