XtalPi Inc. is Hiring an Alliance Manager Near Cambridge, MA

As an Alliance Manager in the Ailux Division of XtalPi, you will work closely with the Business Development Team and the R&D leaders to provide a premium partner experience for biologics discovery and development collaborations. The Alliance Manager will serve as a liaison to ensure smooth communications between partners and the R&D team. The core responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Engage with partners during initial project discussions to accurately capture antibody discovery/development program goals and efficiently communicate these specifications to the R&D team.
  2. Collaborate with R&D functional group leaders to develop a project strategy, and draft detailed statement of work documents to serve as the basis for project contracting.
  3. After deal signing, serve as the primary point-of-contact for external partners, including providing regular project updates and fielding technical questions. Ensure that partners are kept up-to-date on project progress and all concerns and questions are addressed.
  4. Coordinate and collaborate with internal project teams to monitor project progress, proactively identifying and addressing potential risks and issues to ensure successful and timely project completion.
  5. Process Development: work closely with other members of the Alliance Management and Business Development groups to create streamlined documentation and reporting methods to optimize efficiency and improve the client experience.
  6. Participating in business development-related activities as needed including: attending conferences to serve as an Ailux brand ambassador, networking with industry professionals, and comfortably conveying technical details of Ailux's unique capabilities to potential partners and the scientific community at large.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project or alliance management in the biotech or pharmaceutical industries, preferably focused on biologics discovery.
  3. Strong technical knowledge of standard methods of antibody discovery and development highly preferred.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences with diverse professional and cultural backgrounds.
  5. Highly organized, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  6. Strong problem-solving and risk management skills, with the ability to identify and address potential issues proactively.
  7. A strong motivation to contribute to improving processes within the AM team, with attention to detail and a creative, "building" mindset.
  8. Willing to work as part of a global team across several time zones — schedule flexibility required.
  9. Open-minded and enthusiastic about expanding knowledge in AI.
