We are seeking for a high-octane, entrepreneurial sales professional with a STEM background and a proven track record in driving visible business impact and achieving sales goals particularly in a fast-growing startup setting. Responsibilities:

• Promote XtalPi’s AI-driven small molecule drug discovery product portfolio in North America and Europe
• Drive the sales of drug discovery / development services and products (such as software and screening compound libraries) to pharmaceutical companies and biotechnology companies
• Manage strategic accounts within the assigned territories
• Leverage technical expertise to help develop and deliver scientific solutions to pharmaceutical and biotech partners
• Lead the negotiation and closing of contracts and agreements with clients
• Assist the Marketing team with marketing strategy and technical materials to drive a better product-market fit for our service portfolio

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Biology, Chemistry or Engineering, PhD or MBA is a big plus
• Have a strong understanding of drug discovery, as well as chemical and biological sciences
• Experience in building a successful sales pipeline for emerging products/services in a startup is a plus
• 3 years of business development experience and 1 year of direct technical experience in drug discovery and library synthesis in the pharmaceutical industry are highly valued
• Have established connections and a network of contact in the Pharma and biotech industry
• Passionate for both science and business, entrepreneurial, collaborative, coachable
• Have exceptional spoken and written communication skills
• Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
