Looking for experienced Reach Truck Drivers
The position of forklift driver reports to the Forklift Lead and utilizes the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Forklift operators function is an integral piece to the warehouse puzzle. Drivers responsibilities are as follow.
- Maintain reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual, and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and the organization.
- 1 year prior warehouse/stocking/forklift experience preferred.
- Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory
- Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
- Be detail-oriented and have a high sense of urgency
- Proficient in mathematics (Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
- Perform cycle counts as required
- Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped
- Inspect condition of forklifts daily
- Identify safety hazards in the workplace
- Consolidate partial pallets for incoming and storage goods
- Replenish picking locations from storage stock
- Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace
- Stacking empty pallets
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
- Ability to read, write, and identify and verify numbers
- Ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions.
- Able to work Independently
- Assist other dept's as needed
- Walking/Standing 8 hours per day.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 10:00am - 7:00pm.
Peak Season OT Schedule - Monday - Friday 08:00am - 7:00pm and Saturdays may be required.
Required Qualifications: Prior warehouse and/or Forklift Driving experience is preferred as is familiarity with the standard functions of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Please note our facility is not climate controlled but we do have large fans installed throughout the warehouse for the summer months. With that said Please also note some inventory may be dusty.
