Key/Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance YAI programs

• Create scopes of work and obtain competitive estimates and bids for projects

• Effectively manage several projects for multiple programs operations

• Draw floor plans and elevations for projects as needed

• Travel to program operations around NY region

• Maintain and update the Design and Resource work history and vendors recordkeeping, and samples

• Coordinate and accept furniture deliveries

• Performs all other duties, as assigned

Minimum Qualification Requirements including education, experience, licensure/certification, etc. and essential physical capabilities (e.g. lifting, assisting lifting, standing, etc.)

• BA in Interior Design, Fine Arts, Art History, Purchasing or a similar field.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD

Preferred Qualification Requirements (desired requirements beyond MQRs above)

• Basic knowledge and awareness of ID/DD

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong commitment and passion for the organization’s mission.

• Knowledge of the unique environmental needs for a diverse array of people with developmental and intellectual disabilities

• Highly organized and excellent at multitasking
