The Professional CI is responsible for utilizing our people’s talents to produce at the pace of customer demand using optimal resources.

Achieve the lowest cost with Six Sigma quality across the entire value stream.

Main Responsibilities :

Supervisory Capacity : No Supervisory Responsibilities

• Value Stream Analysis (Current and Future State Value Stream Mapping).
• Collaborate with C.I. Manager to assess the Current state of the plant’s Operations; DevelopFuture State vision and implementation plan.
• Drive multifunctional teams.
• Using standard tracking and reporting systems, will prepare detailed plans, drive project performance, and assure timely completion and achievement of product / process quality and savings goals.
• Deliver YFIMS training modules.
• Support other C.I. initiatives, including best practice implementation, while striving to improve Business Metrics.
• Assist in the gathering of YFIMS Assessment data. Collaborate with C.I. Manager to improve Lean-relevant metrics, including those in the 6 panel.
• Implementation of a time study system across all processes and use itto drive labor efficiency improvements.
• Quality System : Understand, apply and meet all function-related Quality requirements.
• Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) : Understand, apply and meet all function-related EHS requirements.
• Product Safety : Understand, apply and meet all function-related Product Safety requirements.
• Compliance : Understand, apply and meet all function-related Compliance requirements.
• Information Security : Understand, apply and meet all function-related IT / Information Security and confidentiality of YFAI information requirements.
• Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Employee must have the ability to work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time.
• Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally withcustomers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels.
• Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote).

Specific Requirements :

• 2-5 Minimum Years of Experience.
• 3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.

Engineering / Process experience.Solid knowledge ofmanufacturing principles and operations.Certified in Lean Manufacturing, preferred certification as Green Belt.

Experience with Microsoft (MS) Project, MS Office.Basic Statistical knowledge.The ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
