As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Construction Specialist to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview: As a Landscape Construction Specialist, you will play a key role in bringing our design concepts to life, transforming landscapes into beautiful, functional, and sustainable environments. You will work closely with our project managers, designers, and construction crew to execute various landscape construction tasks, ensuring the successful completion of projects on time and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Implement Landscape Designs: Interpret and execute landscape designs provided by the project team, ensuring precise implementation of hardscape and softscape elements, including grading, planting, irrigation, and installation of various materials (e.g., pavers, retaining walls, fences).
Site Preparation: Prepare project sites by clearing debris, grading terrain, and conducting necessary soil testing to create a solid foundation for landscape installations.
Hardscape Installation: Skillfully install various hardscape features such as patios, pathways, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, water features, and other elements to add functionality and aesthetics to outdoor spaces.
Planting and Softscape Installation: Select, arrange, and install trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation, adhering to landscape design plans and ensuring proper planting techniques for optimal growth and sustainability.
Irrigation Systems: Install and maintain irrigation systems, including sprinklers and drip lines, to ensure proper water distribution and efficient water usage for landscape elements.
Material Management: Coordinate the delivery and handling of construction materials and ensure their proper usage and storage on-site.
Equipment and Tool Operation: Operate various landscape construction equipment and tools safely and efficiently, such as excavators, bobcats, power saws, and other machinery.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and the construction team.
Quality Control: Monitor construction progress and ensure that all work meets company standards, client expectations, and industry best practices.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, landscape designers, and other team members to effectively communicate project status, address challenges, and collaborate on creative solutions.
