Job Summary:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the oversight of day-to-day activities around the operations including client and guest satisfaction, labor performance and development. This position requires strong leadership, organizational, supervisory, and communication skills plus the understanding of numerous food safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead Identify and bring forward areas of opportunity to increase efficiency and operational production
• Oversee and direct the seamless running of the operation, including management of service staff and managers. Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, supervision of employees and overall performance and development. Maximize employee morale and productivity
• Provide highly efficient and effective service while ensuring that all reporting and statutory requirements are met, and supporting the delivery of outstanding customer service
• Upholds the client's standards and procedures are adhered to by employees and managers. Analyze client satisfaction data and develop and implement plans to achieve established goals related to feedback. Ensure client request and feedback, both verbal and written are responded to promptly and efficiently.
• Appraise employee's overall productivity and efficiency for recommendations for promotions, performance evaluations, disciplining and/or terminations
• Coach, develop and lead team members and managers by example. Promote a culture of pride and ownership
• Maintains standards of quality and service. Ensure the client's operational request are strictly adhered to, all costs are controlled, and any expenditure approved
• Support the implementation and measurement of revenue generating initiatives, staff incentives and sales opportunities
• Develop an open culture of communication, both formal and informal and encourage employee involvement. Maintain good working relationships with team members, department leaders and liaison with Human Resources and the General Manager
• Ensure all team members have a complete understanding of the company's policy relating to food safety, hygiene and safety; including staff training and adherence by all
