Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Route Driver to join our team. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to our client sites from our warehouse. This role requires excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Location: Washington Dc and surrounding area
- Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday - Friday, hours may vary. More details upon interview.
- Requirement: Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required. Must have a valid driver's license!
- Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour.
- Start: Once pass a successful background check.
Duties
- Deliver products to customers on assigned routes
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Notify Manager of any concerns
- Communicate effectively with leaders to ensure satisfaction
- Adhere to all safety regulations while driving and delivering products
Qualifications
- 3 years driving experience required.
- Valid Non-CDL Class C (unless otherwise indicated by state) driver's license and good driving record.
- Preferred 1-2 years experience in a customer service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
- Proficient with handheld computer, training provided.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
- Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
- Able to work independently, responsible for route, work unsupervised 98% of the work day.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
