What We Are Looking ForYazaki Innovations is hiring an MEP Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment, contributing to the development of our pre-fabricated wiring product for the residential and commercial building markets.
What You Will Be Doing

• Reviewing electrical designs and designing a process to convert building electrical design into something that can be manufactured.
• Developing accurate designs/drawings that comply with all applicable codes and company drafting standards, practices, and procedures.
• Collaborating and coordinating internally with the sales, manufacturing, engineering, and business teams.
• Preparing technical reports, editing specifications, undertaking technical investigation studies, and assisting with coordination studies.
• Participating in the QA/QC process, milestone design review, and inter-discipline cross-checking.
• Coordinating time and schedule to work on multiple projects concurrently.
• Scheduling and participating in all scheduled team communication, meetings, and trainings.
• Contributing to the overall business development of the company.

What You Will Bring To The Table

• A Technical BS Degree (preferred).
• PE Certification (preferred).
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an MEP Engineer, with experience in managing technical development, hardware, and/or manufacturing.
• Preferred: 7 years of experience.
• Ability to travel to customers, development centers, and manufacturing plants as required.
• Proficiency in MS Suite.
• English proficiency (Japanese and/or Spanish is a plus).
