What We Are Looking ForYazaki is seeking a Quality Assurance Systems Engineer to join our Manufacturing team in El Paso, TX. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of key processes and standards, KPI tracking systems, and other associated documentation for the Office of Quality. This role is also responsible for conducting internal audits of the related processes documenting corrective and preventative actions, problem identification, notification, and root cause analysis. In addition, this role will manage the corporate Quality Reporting System and support the development/maintenance of global Quality Processes and Standards related to Customer, Government, and Corporate Requirements and Regulations.
  • Liaise with the Mexican Plants to validate Quality KPIs and targets (requires bilingual capabilities).
  • Maintain quality and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Maintain Office of Quality SharePoint site and documents.
  • Issue Access to internal requirements when valid.
  • Approve and Release QA Level Documents
  • Assist in the development and translation of documentation (requires bilingual capabilities).
  • Communicate document revisions throughout YNCA.
  • Central communication and distribution of externally controlled documents.
  • Assist the Quality Assurance System Manager as needed with projects.
  • Support multifunctional groups, including BU and Manufacturing, to prepare and present quality-related information (requires bilingual capabilities).
  • Accurate and timely preparation of KPI and project documents that come out of the Office of Quality.
  • Assist in the development of reports, analyses, and other documentation for the Office of Quality.
  • Participate in the Global Working Quality Groups for Process development, improvement, and deployment.
  • Coordinate with IT and Facilities for equipment needs and repairs as well as equipment installations and moves for the Office of Quality.
  • Actively participate in the Quality Forum and conduct internal audits as required.
  • Attend quality meetings and assist as needed (Manufacturing Locations as well)
What You Will Bring To The Table
  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years related field or equivalent industry experience.
  • Ability to translate documents (Spanish to English and English to Spanish)
  • Certifications: Lean Six Sigma training preferred Previous experience: 1 to 3 years’ experience in an administrative, technical, or analytical position.
  • Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 and previous quality management system procedures and audit experience preferred.
