The Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect with strong project management capabilities and leadership qualities to join our team. As a Senior Architect, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing architectural projects from conception to completion. You will collaborate closely with the firm’s Principal, clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality design solutions that meet project requirements, timelines, and budgets.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the firm’s Principal to understand the creative vision and direction of each project.

• Lead and manage architectural projects from the initial concept through the construction administration phase.

• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to deadlines and financial parameters.

• Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including designers, engineers, contractors, and consultants.

• Conduct site visits, surveys, and assessments to gather project requirements and constraints.

• Collaborate with the principal to prepare and present design proposals, drawings, and specifications to the clients.

• Produce architectural drawings, renderings, and documentation, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to project requirements and standards.

• Collaborate closely with the design team to develop comprehensive and compelling visual representations of architectural concepts and solutions.

• Effectively communicating specifications to all project team members to ensure understanding and adherence.

• Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards.

• Oversee the production of architectural drawings, renderings, and documentation, while providing technical expertise and guidance to junior staff members.

• Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing.

• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, addressing their needs and concerns throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• A BArch in architecture from an accredited institution or higher.

• Preferred Licensed Architect in the state of New York and or Miami but, not required.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design and project management.

1. Experience: Luxury residential – condo, apartments, homes.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering architectural projects of varying scales and complexities.

• A strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.

• Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and building systems.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.

• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building practices is desirable.
