• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum twp-year medical records experience required.
• Familiarity with the Problem Oriented Medical Record (SOAP) system essential.

A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.

Location: Donaldson CF, Bessemer, AL

Rate: $17.20-$22.50 based on experience

Below is a list of your responsibilities as a Medical Records Clerk with YesCare at the Donaldson Facility.

• Medical Records experience at least one year required.
• Retrieve medical charts for all healthcare staff or clinicians as requested. File daily all in use medical records. Secure all active and inactive medical records.
• Assure that charts are counter-signed by Physician, check charts for completeness.
• Release information at the direction of the Medical Records Supervisor, Medical Director or Health Services Administrator.
• Answer the telephone, take messages and make telephone calls. Type letters, reports and memorandums.
• Maintain a roster or appointment book for all scheduled patient appointments both on and off-site.
• Order, receive and maintain office supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
