YHB is Hiring a Corporate Recruiter Near Winchester, VA

YHB's Corporate Recruiter is responsible for executing all aspects of the talent acquisition process in support of the various YHB Lines of Business including Tax, Assurance, and Client Accounting and Advisory Services. Responsibilities include but are not limited to job requisition development; sourcing, screening, and interviewing qualified talent to maintain a robust talent pipeline; management of job postings across relevant platforms; serving as a representative and advocate for YHB by attending networking events and job fairs; and working effectively with the onboarding team. This role will be responsible for assisting as needed with the entry-level recruiting and on-campus events in the absence of the Campus Recruiter.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Firm leadership and HR Team to assess immediate and long-term talent needs based on current staffing models and the current 5-Year Strategic Plan.
  • Ownership and management of YHB’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure accurate and complete candidate records, efficient and effective procedures, that compliance activities are completed timely.
  • Evaluate and measure recruiting results to identify opportunities for key HRIS/ATS process improvement initiatives that ensure accurate and complete employee records.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for competitive TA practices and provide market intelligence in a timely manner to Firm Leadership by seeking development opportunities on newest talent acquisition strategies or tools.
  • Develop and implement creative and effective talent sourcing strategies that utilize both online channels and professional networks. Utilizes all available sourcing resources to establish immediate and long-term candidate pipeline, which includes use of social media
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and Firm Leadership to understand the need, competencies, and experience requirements of each position.
  • Develop accurate and comprehensive job descriptions and identify a proactive sourcing strategy for each position
  • Communicate all candidate status updates to CPO and hiring manager(s), and communicate employment offer status updates to CPO, HR Team, and hiring manager(s). Maintain open communication and feedback channels with Firm Leadership to gain valuable insight on successes and opportunities in the current ATS.
  • Manage all aspects of YHB's Talent Acquisition process and adheres to all internal approval process workflows
  • Facilitates all aspects of candidate care, including scheduling candidate and hiring team interviews, candidate follow up, pre-closing candidate offer negotiation and acceptance.
  • Document all candidate sourcing and identification activities within YHB’s ATS according to established standards including maintaining documentation relative to hiring decisions including interview notes and assessment tools.
  • Assist with the facilitation of YHB’s candidate onboarding process to ensure a high level of candidate care and guidance occurs from point of acceptance to commencement of employment.
  • Ensure that all Pre-Hire Qualifications [background and reference check] are complete and align with Firm standards.
  • Foster and maintain positive professional relationships with new hires and existing employees.
  • Assessing the hiring needs of the company and developing job descriptions and specifications accordingly.
  • Maintain monthly recruitment metrics and reports to track effectiveness and costs.
  • Assist with the firm’s annual internship and externship programs as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to document communications and interactions with candidates in the ATS.
  • Ability to multitask and work on several open positions.
  • Strong internet research skills

  • Displays an attitude of helpfulness, a focus on team success, and consideration of the ideas of others.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience in professional recruiting
  • Relevant professional certification preferred, g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting techniques, employment policies and procedures, and applicable regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience and knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Proficient with business software and technology, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
