Job description

We are seeking an experience sales professional to join our team. We are seeking an energetic, self motivated and result driven sales professional. The qualified individual must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets. The qualified individual must be able to:

1. Develop new business

2. Maintain customer relations

3. Offer good customer service

4. Keep well informed on market trends in the industry

5. Sell containers space, Transportation and services as part of an NVOCC

6. Be a self starter

7. Strong negotiating skills

8. Excellent communication skills

9. Work independently

Job requirements

1. Prior sales experience in selling container space.

2. Proven success record in sales

3. Develop and present a business plan of action to obtain new business

4. Prior experience in an NVOCC freight forwarding company

5. Be able to use streamline websites and go freight to track shipments.

6. Prospect new business

7. Establish communication with prospective clients while understanding, their supply chain needs and building proposals to meet their requirements

8. Meet monthly goals

9. Good organizational skills

10. A minimum of three years experience in selling.

Pay: 35,000 base salary

Commission: % of sales.
