Description
Do you desire and love to work with youth between the ages of 3-13 years old? Do you want to create the best summer ever for our campers? If so, please consider applying and joining our Camp Greendale team!
Under the supervision of the Camp Director, Camp Counselors are responsible for supervising and leading a group of 10-20 campers through a high-quality day camp experience with their peers while identifying and meeting camper needs and maintaining YMCA day camp standards and DPH standards.
Qualifications:

• Current CPR, AED and First Aid Certifications
• Desire and Ability to work with children indoors and outdoors.
• Ability to assist in teaching an activity.
• Ability to relate to one's peer group Good character, integrity, and adaptability •Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-control.
• At least 18 years of age

Camp Greendale will run for 9 weeks between the dates of 6/24/2024 to 8/23/2024.
The camp day will run from 7:30am-6:00pm Monday through Friday.
Schedules available:
Monday-Friday 7:30am-1:00pm,
Monday-Friday 12:30pm-6:00pm,
and/or Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Job Type: Summer Seasonal
Pay: $16.00/hour for newly hired Camp Counselors and $16.50/hour for returning Camp Counselors that worked last year. Plus, access to YMCA facilities to all YMCA employees, Employee Assistance Program, and Sick Leave
