The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team of professionals as a Facility Director II – Facilities/Clay Sports/Special Events.

This dynamic leadership role has facility oversite for two branches with additional responsibilities related to our Clay Sports division.

As Facility Director, this position will oversee the general maintenance of the multiple YMCA sites, including management of maintenance and custodial staff, to ensure good member experience and pristine facilities. The ideal candidate will also assist with set up and transportation of Clay Sports related equipment for various Clay Sporting Competitions throughout South and Central Texas.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and implement a schedule to ensure the entire facility is cleaned daily
• Identify needed repairs/prioritize and include on daily list
• Make necessary repairs including painting, plumbing, minor electrical, HVAC, building etc.
• Scheduling of outsourced repairs around the needs of programs and building availability
• Assist with aquatics pump room diagnostics and troubleshooting preventing downtime
• Scheduling of Preventive Maintenance around program needs and building availability ensuring state requirements are met
• Develop and maintain file system documenting all repairs, receipts and notations for all projects
• Maintain a system of supplies and inventory that provides adequate supplies necessary for day-to-day operations. Limiting trips to vendors to a monthly (ideally) except for special project needs identified by VP or based on emergency
• Participate bi-annually in facility accreditation process
• Works directly with Clay Sports Director during set up, tear down, and operation of clay shoots
• Assists and works directly with the Executive Director for Association special events
• Ability to drive truck & 33ft trailer, drive and load 4-wheeler, push/pull clay pigeon thrower
• Ability to lift tongue weight of 80lbs
• Ability to work in an outside environment – hot, cold or wet

Skills/ Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certified Pool Operator certificate is required
• Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License and show proof of insurability
• Must pass reference checks, pre-employment drug screen, background check and sex offender registry check

Salary: $55,000-$62,000 annually
