As a key player of our Child Development Center team, the Assistant Teacher is responsible for the overall classroom atmosphere, the curriculum, the development of each child to their full potential and communication with parents and other classroom staff. As a center, we are committed to our vision as a place where staff, children and their families are a part of a learning community in which they experience a sense of wonder, play, adventure, investigation, and support.

Lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, sitting on floor or in child sized chairs, diapering, assisting with toileting, climbing, reaching, running, carrying or holding a child up to 50 lbs, pushing, operating a computer and swimming with children are all required functions of the position. Spending time outdoors during summer and winter months are also a requirement. 

 
STATUS: Full-time, Non-exempt

STARTING SALARY: $16.00
