This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the efficient execution of projects, maintenance of facilities, and alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (not a complete list):Strategic Project Oversight:
- Develop and implement project management strategies that align with the YMCA's mission and goals.
- Lead and manage project teams both internally and externally, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and resolving issues to ensure successful outcomes.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all YMCA facilities, ensuring they are safe, operational, and compliant with regulations.
- Develop and implement facility improvement plans to enhance member experience and operational efficiency.
- Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to support facility needs and capital projects.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop operational plans and budgets that support organizational objectives.
- Proactively monitor operational performance against plans, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure operational processes and procedures are efficient and aligned with YMCA standards and policies.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
- Effective facilitation skills. Should be able to facilitate group discussions.
- Attention to detail. Should be able to develop accurate written materials. Action orientated. Should be able to follow up on feedback to ensure positive outcomes.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including YMCA staff, leadership team, board members, donors, community partners, and regulatory agencies.
- Represent the YMCA of Greater Tulsa in meetings, conferences, and public forums related to project management and facility operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, Facility Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and facility operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and multi-site facilities.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, financial management, and risk management principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- PMP certification or equivalent.
