YMCA of Middle Tennessee is Hiring a Field/Gym Facilitator - Brentwood Near Brentwood, TN
Pay Range: Starts at $13.00 per hour, depending on experience
Position SummaryConsistent with the Christian mission and vision of the YMCA of Middle TN, and in cooperation with other YMCA staff, under the direction of the Sports Director, the Field/Gym Facilitator is responsible for the personnel, facilities, equipment, and quality of youth sports programs during game and practice times as directed by the Sports Director.

Essential Functions
- Model the YMCA core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility
- Ensure safe and risk free environment at all times while meeting the individual needs of the participants
- Act as a role model, exhibit good judgment and have a strong awareness of safety; know and understand all emergency procedures
- Supervise the facilities used in operation of the YMCA Youth Sports Program
- Ensure equipment is safe, clean and operable; ensure necessary repairs are made
- Maintain cordial and positive relations with volunteer coaches and parents of participants in the program
- Promote benefits and services of the YMCA
- Serve as an effective member of the YMCA staff team, performing other duties as assigned
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions

- Must present a professional image and possess conflict resolution skills, and demonstrate sound judgment and initiative
- Must be highly organized with the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Minimum 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with and knowledge of programs and services offered by the YMCA Sports Department preferred
- Before start of 1st shift: New Hire Orientation training
- Within 30 days of hire: CPR Pro/First Aid/AED
