Position Name – Electrical engineer (Power Supply)
Type of hiring – Contract only – 12 Months
Location – Fremont, CA – Day 1 onsite
Job Description:
Mandatory : High voltage exp.
1. Power Hardware Testing.
a. Set up and perform hardware testing on standalone Power Supply Unit (PSU), standalone Battery Backup Unit (BBU), integrated PSU shelf, integrated BBU shelf, and integrated rack power system (PSU shelf and BBU shelf) per given test plans.
b. Assist with issue debugging and work with PSU/BBU vendors
2. Assist Power Hardware Tooling Integration Testing with data center tools to monitor and alert events related to PSU/BBU health
3. Assist Power lab management
a. Work with equipment vendors for calibration
b. Co-ordinate equipment repair with equipment vendor
c. Assist with new equipment installation and bring up
d. Initiate and assist with stocking lab supplies to meet testing needs
Requirements
· 3 years of experience with switching power supply testing or similar job function (power bricks validation in Server / Storage / Network switches).
· Familiar with operation of power lab equipment such as oscilloscope, AC source, DC load, Power analyzer, etc.
· Good work attitude.
