Data Analyst

Location: Ridgefield Park, NJ

Duration: 12 months extension

Rate: $40.00 - $50.00/hr

Summary:

The main function of the Data Analyst is to provide business intelligence support and supporting areas by means of both repeatable and ad hoc reporting delivery reports (charts, graphs, tables, etc.) that enable informed business decisions.

• Looking into customer service operations data

• Advanced SQL and data analysis - will be using SQL on a D2D basis – query databases and get data for insights, reporting etc.

• eCommerce experience is highly preferred but not required

• Tableau and Python would be helpful but not required as long as they have strong data reporting tools experience

• Must have strong communication skills to interface with Business teams and Cross-Functional teams; also define requirements with Technical and Data Engineering teams

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes performance of process activities, identifies problem areas, and presents findings in clear, concise charts, graphs, tables, or summaries.

• Establishes standardized methods of recording, tracking and reporting on activity.

• Design, implement, automate and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes.

Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.

• Mine the Company's website operations data (such as ePromoter, customer service, returns, fulfillment etc.), and sales data to drive actionable insights on a product, category and general business level.

• Execute deep dive analysis to answer key business questions related to the Company's eCommerce platform.

• Leverage data to understand trends and future opportunities to reduce customer contacts, improve CX and increase eCommerce revenue growth. Leverage predictive modeling techniques in the process.

• Proactively work with business units and teams to understand and translate data-driven initiatives and potential ideas. Synthesize ideas and suggestions from stakeholders and users to determine what to build based on business priorities, strategy and vision.

• Build and maintain new reports, or enhancements to existing reports for ePromoter team.

• Design and support building new data pipelines (or enhancements to existing data pipelines) by partnering with engineering teams.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any data issues for ePromoter team

• Manage operational data requests, and provide visibility to tracking data for emerging issues reported by sites.
