Summary
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to work for our expanding after-hours pediatric urgent care practices.
Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assessing pediatric patients
• Administering oral, rectal, intramuscular and intravenous medications
• Assisting in procedures
• Performing pediatric venipuncture, IV insertion, and maintenance
• Obtaining sterile specimen via urinary catheterization
• Remaining knowledgeable in pediatric pharmacology
• Utilizing critical thinking
• Working well with the interdisciplinary PM Pediatrics team

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience is required
• Active state nursing license
• Prior experience and competency with nursing procedures (not limited to, IV placement, urinary straight catheterization, and medication administration)
• Pediatric Emergency Room, Pediatric Hospital Unit or Pediatrics Urgent Care experience preferred
• Basic Life Support certification is required and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification is a plus

Weekend and evening availability required.
