About The Role:PanasonicWELL is seeking an Agile Team Coach/JIRA Administrator to join the Agile Center of Excellence (ACoE). The ACoE’s mission is to lead the organization’s Agile Transformation, support and enable Product Teams to focus on delivering customer value, align strategies with outcomes, leverage data to make better decisions, and streamline ways of working. This team is primarily focused on a point programmatic thrust:

  1. Product Team enablement which includes product team formation, training, launch and agile/product coaching to aid in continuous improvement. 
  2. Agile tooling, metrics, and dashboards; setting lean standards, configurations, and integrations to unlock the potential for automated transparency. 
  3. Leading and guiding Agile product governance which includes executive strategy alignment routines such as quarterly business reviews, product showcases and strategic alignment planning events.

The Agile Team Coach/JIRA Administrator plays a critical role in training, coaching and continuously improving product teams value flow, discovery, and delivery practices. Nurturing a customer-centric operating model that places customers at the forefront and unites cross-functional teams to deliver maximum customer value. The Agile Coach/Scrum Master will unlock the potential for product teams to align organizational goals, processes, and product development, while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement. The Agile Coach/Scrum Master is the means to helping teams continuously improve overall value flow by removing friction and improving processes for the teams. This role requires an accomplished professional with a track record for leading and driving organizational change.

PanasonicWELL is able to employ individuals who reside in (or that are willing to relocate to) the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, and Washington.

What You’ll Get To Do: 

  • Act as a facilitator and coach for individuals, teams on adopting Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) 
  • Bridges communication between the team, product owner, and stakeholders 
  • Lead by example as a servant leader to the team, the product owner and the organization
  • Facilitate all Agile ceremonies without assigning or dictating work 
  • Shields the team to minimize interruptions and distractions to the sprint, keeping them focused on delivering a quality product on time 
  • Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they’re doing 
  • Pose questions, crowd-source ideas, and come to consensus on process solutions that promote self-organization and fill gaps in existing processes 
  • Assists the team to smoothly navigate forming, storming and norming team formation stages by addressing team dynamics, decision making, and conflict resolution 
  • Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving 
  • Assess the maturity of the team and coaching the team to higher levels of Agile maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization 
  • Identifies and removes impediments or obstacles that prevent teams from reaching goals
  • Champions continuous improvements in processes and development techniques 
  • Actively contribute to the company’s Agile practice 
  • Champions an Agile mindset and culture across the organization.
  • Manage JIRA project workflows, user roles, and permissions
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance on the configuration, optimization, and automation of custom JIRA workflows
  • Integrate JIRA with other program management platforms and tools

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
  • At least 5 years of experience working in an agile organization, preferably in a variety of industries and environments
  • At least 3 years of JIRA Administration experience
  • Startup experience preferred
  • Scrum Master certification required (SSM preferred) 
  • Scrum@Scale, Scaled agile experience, or SAFe certifications preferred 
  • Experience with Kanban required 
  • Experience with distributed teams preferred
  • Familiarity with ALM tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools like Slack, FigJam, Mural, Miro
  • Understanding of the Agile software development life cycle 
  • Strong communication and social skills 
  • Energetic and enthusiastic personality 
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to build, develop, and coach high-performing teams
