Yokogawa is Hiring a KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER Near Sugar, TX

The Key Account Manager is pivotal in driving the growth of our business through the pursuit of new customers and nurturing our existing relationships. As an expert in Field Instruments, this role demands a dynamic and strategic individual with a proven record in both direct and indirect sales.

Account Management & Growth:

  • Cultivate and expand relationships within existing accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for upselling.
  • Pursue new customers, leveraging our product advantages and delivering tailored solutions to their needs.
  • Work collaboratively with both indirect and direct sales channels to optimize client reach and product placement.

Product Expertise:

  • Maintain an expert level of knowledge regarding Field Instruments and their applications. (ex. Of instruments)
  • Present and explain our product features to potential clients and demonstrate how our offerings stand out from the competition.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and competitor products to ensure effective positioning of our offerings.

Sales & Promotion:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales tools, promotional plans, and marketing collateral.
  • Engage with product management team to ensure regional requirements are considered during product development and inventory planning.
  • Support Indirect Partners and the Yokogawa Proposal Team in presenting accurate and differentiated proposals to customers.

Performance & Metrics:

  • Consistently meet or exceed the individual and regional revenue goals.
  • Deliver on the performance plan for order intake and profit concerning assigned products and territories.
  • Effectively develop and implement elements of the annual business plans for products and sales channels.

Team Collaboration & Development:

  • Actively engage in training sessions, workshops, and team meetings, ensuring the continuous development of both direct and indirect sales teams.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, sharing insights, feedback, and best practices.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Industrial Distribution from a four-year college or university; relevant and substantial work experience may be accepted as a substitute for the degree requirement.

Experience:

  • 10 years of experience in a direct or indirect sales position. Preferred: Proven experience in selling field instrumentation.

Travel: Up to 50% of the time, depending on client needs and territories covered.
