Yokogawa is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to oversee the expansion of our automation solutions and services into new asset developments and brownfield optimization projects across several industrial markets. This includes renewables, biofuels, water treatment to chemical, refining, and Oil & Gas.
This position is responsible to manage a team and drive significant growth by establishing and maintaining relationships with clients and end users; developing relationships at every level from the executive suite to line managers, engineers and procurement; building a pipeline of project opportunities; and ensuring that annual account plans are in place that will drive our growth and order targets. This position may be located in either the Sugar Land, Texas or Baton Rouge, LA locations.
JOB SUMMARY
Create and maintain Regional Sales strategy in collaboration with key Yokogawa stakeholders; Determining target markets and potential clients within those markets
Engage with EPC or end-user leaders and executives to develop relationships, understand their business and formulate business solutions to create value.
Interface with regional sales and business leads to implement and develop account specific strategies within key customers and markets
Attract, develop, and retain a team of Account Managers that develop demand and need for process automation portfolio within new and existing customers and markets aligned to Yokogawa's strategic objectives and goals.
Participate in regular reviews for all assigned Accounts to review progress against commitments including performance to plan, CRM pipeline size & quality, CRM utilization, and accounts receivable as necessary.
Leverage the tools and processes to meet and exceed the team's annual targets w (CRM, Forecasting, Account planning etc.)
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Engineering Technology Preferred (Mechanical or Electrical a plus).
7 years of solution selling experience in the process control industry, preferably in engineering, systems, software, and the services field with established relationships at major customer's and understanding of client's business processes. The ability to understand DCS, instrumentation, safety systems, applications or related level of understanding of process control environment.
5 years' experience leading teams and proven experience developing and implementing business strategies.
Relationships with C-level executives within major end users.
Ability to travel (50% expected) and comply with the company's travel policy.
