YLUMCPS is seeking a caring and responsible teacher to work in our nurturing Christian Preschool.

1 part-time position available, hours as listed per position

Position 1: M-F 8 am-12 pm

Teacher Responsibilities

As a teacher you will create a fun, safe, loving and nurturing learning environment. Teachers are responsible for planning and implementing curriculum. We have a lead teacher and assistant teacher in most classrooms. You will be modeling behavior with Christian values of kindness, gentleness, and a loving and gracious attitude while supporting our students as they learn and grow.

The ideal candidate will possess:

* A joyful disposition and love of working with preschool age children
* Ability to interact with parents and co-workers in a warm, empathetic, confident manner
* Willingness to learn and be flexible
* Fingerprint and background clearance
* A minimum 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) core units with 3 infant/toddler units

*A minimum of one year's experience working in a Preschool setting

* A willingness to be flexible and to be used wherever is needed within the school

* The ability to be a team player and to contribute joyfully to the success of the school

* Have, or the ability to obtain, a fingerprint and background clearance

* Have, or the ability to obtain, all required immunizations as mandated by the Child Care Licensing.

*Have, or the ability to obtain, Mandated Reporter Training

*Have, or the ability to obtain, First Aid/Pediatric CPR training

Our school calendar runs the same schedule as PYLUSD and is a great option for those who have children in the district and would like the same breaks as them.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
