Job Summary:

Plans menus, prepares, and serves food for YWCA Camp Cann-Edi-On programs in accordance with CACFP and maintains a clean work environment in compliance with food service regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan balanced menus following CACFP guidelines. Posts menus as required.

Food preparation and distribution to campers and staff.

Comply with special dietary needs of children.

Responsible for dishwashing related to food preparation and serving in accordance with regulations (utilizing three compartment sink).

Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment (sinks, countertops, stovetops, equipment, sweep/mop floor, empty trash, etc.).

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with one to two year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Has a current ServSafe Certification (or willing to complete prior to the start of camp)

Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds.
