Early Head Start Teacher $5,000 sign-on bonus
Do you have a passion to make a difference and positively impact young children and their families? At YCCAC Head Start, we are more than a daycare. We are committed to providing high-quality child care and comprehensive education, health and well-being services to children from 6 weeks to 5 years. We are now hiring a Teacher to join us in our mission of creating a warm and supportive environment where children and families can thrive.
What We Offer
  • $5,000 sign-on bonus payable in four installments ($1000 after completion of months 3, 6, 9 & $2000 after 1 year – external applicants only).

Your Role
  • Partnering with families to develop child focused goals that meet individual needs.
  • Planning, implementing and documenting a comprehensive child development program suitable for infants and toddlers.
  • Building positive and supportive relationships with children and families.
  • Assuming responsibilities for primary caregiving to ensure continuity of care.
  • Help coordinating the daily operations of the classroom.
Qualifications
  • Have an Infant/Toddler CDA or Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood (preferred).
  • Have experience working with children in a center-based setting; prior experience working with families preferred.
  • Be willing to work flexible hours to meet families’ needs.
  • Immunized against MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) and TDaP (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis).
  • Must be able to pass a background check, to include DHHS and fingerprinting.
